MARIUS F.M. de BRUYN
Principal - AESTHETICS+DESIGN
- In 1983 Marius received his Bachelor of Arts from
The University of Western Ontario.
- In 1987 Marius completed his Graduate Studies in Landscape Architecture at
THE SCHOOL OF LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE at The University of Guelph.
- Upon completing his internship in 1989,
Marius became a full member with Seal of the Ontario Association of Landscape Architects
(OALA) and of the Canadian Society of Landscape Architects
(CSLA).
- In 1992 Marius became a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA).
- In 1999 Marius was the first private practice landscape architect to receive
Level 1 CPTED certification through
The CPTED Institute (Mississauga, ON, Canada), now represented by
CPTED Ontario.
- In 2001 Marius received his Level 2 CPTED certification through Peel Regional Police (Brampton, ON, Canada).
CPTED = Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design
Cst. Tom McKay of Peel Regional Police, a CPTED Specialist, was the instructor in both courses
