The Gairloch Gallery presented Mischief & Mirth May 02 to 06 1995 as part of a fund raiser.

We were pleased to have been invited to design and construct a toy.
Our entry was a Hako Niwa, a Japanese box garden.
Materials:
  • left-over cedar lumber of an Itabei (Japanese plank wall) from one of our Old Oakville Japanese gardens
  • native rocks from North Oakville
  • sand from Lake Ontario in West Oakville (the sand was autoclaved)
  • moss from East Oakville.
