On a sunny Saturday morning April 26th, 1997 several parishioners came out to assist in shaping the new planting bed for the MARY MOTHER of GOD Parish rectory office on 463 Glenashton Drive in Oakville, ON.

PHASE II: the planting
The planting took place in June 1997 after the rectory office's front windows received a new paint job and a set of new shutters. The new set of stairs - well, hopefully soon.
A simple garden was created by using the following plant material:
the primary bed has ornamental grass surrounded by tall sedum and a few yews up against the brick facade, rounded out by further perennials
the secondary bed: Siberian Dogwood with Periwinkle as ground cover (to be planted in the fall/spring) bordered by further perennials
